Our Story
So Sauces is the creation of Frankie So — founder and Head Chef of the much-loved Jade Garden Oriental Restaurant in Strandhill, Co. Sligo. Originally from Hong Kong, Frankie has proudly called Ireland home for over 40 years, bringing with him more than 50 years of experience in Chinese cuisine.
After decades developing and perfecting recipes across a number of successful restaurants and takeaways throughout Sligo — including the well-known Dragon House Restaurant and, more recently, Jade Garden — Frankie wanted to give his customers the opportunity to recreate some of their favourite flavours at home. From that idea, So Sauces was born, proudly named after Frankie himself.
The first product from the range is Frankie's Signature Curry Sauce — a recipe perfected over many years and a firm customer favourite. Made using carefully selected natural ingredients, it makes it incredibly simple to create a rich, creamy Chinese curry sauce at home in just a few minutes. Simply add your favourite chicken, beef, seafood or vegetables, or pour it generously over freshly cooked chips.
